"Turn the woman into a bronze statue"
"Turn the woman into a wood carving"
"Turn the woman into a plastic action figure with posable joints"
"Turn the woman into a playdough figure using brown and green"
"Turn the woman into crayon artwork"
"Turn the woman into an anime character"
(I'm blown away by how well this one worked out)
"Turn the woman into a drawing from a medieval illustrated manuscript"
"Turn the woman into a piece of renaissance art by Leonardo da Vinci"
"Turn the woman into artwork by Picasso"
"Turn the woman into an ancient cave drawing"
"Turn the woman into a skeleton with clothes"
(When I just said skeleton, the pose was right, but all the clothes were gone)
"Turn the character into a monster from Tim Burton's the Nightmare Before Christmas"
(Not sure why there's an extra arm and leg, but perhaps the 'monster' request did that)
"Turn the woman into a zombie with bits of flesh hanging off"
(yes, it's kinda gross)
"Put the woman in a wedding dress"
"Put the woman in a pink bikini"
"Put the woman in a snowstorm with snowflakes falling."
"Make the woman African American with dark brown skin"
(This one really messed up the face, so clearly that needs some work yet. But the rest worked very well)
"Make the woman 80 years old"
"Make the woman 12 years old"
"Turn the woman into a man with a beard and hairy arms"
(There seems to be some extra hair around the neckline that would need some fixing.)
"Turn the woman into a piece of traditional first nations' artwork"
"Turn the woman into a Lego figure"
(I think it has an extra bend in the elbow that a traditional Lego mini-fig would not have, but I didn't specify mini-fig)
"Cover the woman in tattoos"
(I didn't specify where or what kind, so there's some overlap on clothing)
'Turn the woman into a sand sculpture"
"Turn the woman into an ancient Egyptian Hieroglyph"
'make the woman an astronaut"
"Put the woman in an Iron-Man suit"
All those images were done via a single line of text instructions. They can be a lot more complex with very specific parameters. And this is just the early tests of a new technology. Once it gets faces done properly and better understands the human body, there's no telling what it can do. Also under development are tools to do things like this in real time with video and audio instantly generated. Fake news will be a whole new thing when you can instantly make Putin call for a nuclear strike against the USA and overlay that with a live news feed and branding from CNN. Or... here it's scary.... instantly put the face of a girl from school on top of a porn star in a scene. With even a small voice sample, you could also make her talk with near-perfect accuracy.
The law will be way behind on this, as will tools to counter and detect fake content. Yipe.
Ok... here are some fun family ones I did....
Nicole and I as plastic action figures (this from our recent family photo shoot)
Nicole and I as marble statues in renaissance style. It used the same base photo as the image above did. I didn't take my shirt off for the picture... though my chest and abs absolutely look like that in real life.
Neil and Laura as cowboys. I love how it added the massive belt buckles. Hats and faces need some work yet.
Neil, Dad and James as an early renaissance painting
Michelle, Mom, Lona, and Nicole as Disney characters with exaggerated features
